BACS File Generation

What it does

BACS file generation creates Standard 18 format files that you submit to your bank for processing Direct Debit payments. It also supports AUDDIS files for new mandate instructions and ARUDD imports for failed payments.

Key actions

• Generate Standard 18 BACS submission files
• Generate AUDDIS files for mandate setup
• Import ARUDD files for failed payment notifications
• Download files for bank submission
• Configure BACS service user details in settings

Getting started

Go to Direct Debit > Settings to configure your BACS service user number and details. Then generate files from the Collections page.
