Budgets
What it does
Budgets let you set income and expense targets for each account and period. The budget comparison report shows actual figures against your targets, highlighting variances so you can see where you are over or under budget.
Key actions
- Create budgets with monthly or yearly targets per account
- Compare actual vs. budgeted figures
- Duplicate budgets to create new versions
- View variance analysis (amount and percentage)
Getting started
Go to Reports > Budgets. Click "New Budget", name it, and enter your target amounts for each account and period. Run the comparison to see how you are tracking.
